About Bera Safari
Local ground. Clear expectations.
Bera Safari has operated private wildlife drives in the Jawai Dam region since 2012. Founder and Managing Director Gaffar Khan has shaped the company around practical knowledge of this open landscape and the people who live within it.
A Jawai safari is not a scripted attraction. Leopards move through granite caves and open hills, while birds and crocodiles may be observed around the reservoir. Patience, distance and honest expectations matter more than promises.
Morning and evening are separate private-jeep safaris. Each is about three hours, accommodates up to six guests and is priced separately at ₹4,000 per private jeep.

Gaffar founded Bera Safari in 2012 and continues to lead it as Managing Director. His work is grounded in long familiarity with Bera and Jawai: the granite routes, reservoir edges, village access, changing light and the patience needed to read wildlife movement.
For Gaffar, planning a safari begins before the jeep moves. A guest's date, accommodation and chosen morning or evening window all inform the practical field decisions that follow—where permitted access leads, when to wait and how to observe without pressing the wildlife.
That judgment shapes the way Bera Safari works today: private drives, clear expectations and honest respect for a landscape in which wildlife sightings remain wonderfully unscripted.
